Parys - As part of continuing interactions between communities, media and communicators at local government, Communications Deputy Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams is today visiting Parys, which falls under the Ngwathe Municipality in the Free State.
The visit to the small town, on the banks of the Vaal River, is one of the many that the Ministry has been holding since its establishment to engage with communicators and representatives of community media across the country.
The Deputy Minister has held similar events in various provinces such as Northern Cape, Western Cape, Limpopo, Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
Today’s visit will include sessions with government communicators, the local media as well as Mayoral Exco at Ngwathe municipal council chambers. – SAnews.gov.za
