Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma and his Cabinet will once again meet at the Presidential Guesthouse today to revisit government policies and programmes and plan the year ahead.
The three-day Cabinet Lekgotla brings together all the ministers, their deputies, premiers and top government officials to assess the implementation of government's programmes.
The decisions taken at the indaba will form the basis for President Zuma's much-anticipated State of the Nation Address, which will be delivered to a joint sitting of Parliament on 11 February.
Yesterday, Government Spokesperson Themba Maseko said discussing ways to improve service delivery at local government level would be one of the top issues under discussion at the lekgotla following several violent protests last year.
The country's economy, Eskom's funding for its expansion programme and the 2010 FIFA World Cup are also expected to top the agenda.
