Pretoria - The South African Weather Services has warned that heavy thunder storms are expected in some parts of Gauteng today.
Forecaster, Karl Loots, said the heavy rains could lead to flooding. He advised people to follow the necessary precautionary measures such as driving with headlamps switched on and slowing down.
Rain is also expected in the Free State, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and in some parts of Mpumalanga.
"Most part of the country will be cloudy for the rest of the day," said Loots.
