Pretoria - The Limpopo Health and Social Development Department will mark World TB Day tomorrow.
Health Dikeledi Magadzi will deliver the keynote address at the Tshifulanani Stadium, Thulamela municipality in the Vhembe district.
The department has dedicated the month of March to TB awareness month by engaging in several activities which include door to door campaigns and road shows which targeted taxi ranks and shopping centres.
"In these activities, we continue to educate the public about the services that are available to them free of change and the importance of knowing their health status. We have been going around with 10 different teams per day that include nurses, community health workers," provincial spokesperson Joe Maila said.
The department urged patients to finish their six or eight month TB treatment.
