Wednesday, April 3, 2013

Pretoria – The Presidency says former President Nelson Mandela continues to make steady improvement in hospital.

“His doctors say he continues to respond satisfactorily to treatment and is much better now than he was when he was admitted to hospital on 27 March 2013,” said the Presidency on Wednesday.

Madiba was admitted to hospital just before midnight last Wednesday due to the recurrence of his lung infection.

“He has been visited by family and continues to make steady progress,” said the Presidency. – SAnews.gov.za
