Pretoria - After a week without water, the water supply at Natalspruit Hospital has been restored, the Gauteng Health Department said on Monday.
The water supply shortage, which affected mainly the theatres last week, was caused by a burst pipe outside the hospital.
“Officials from the Department of Infrastructure Development attended to the problem and this has since been resolved. All services are running as normal.
“The department would like to thank the hospital users for their patience and understanding during this period,” the department said.
The hospital reiterated that no major disruptions occurred at the hospital during the time and service delivery as well as patient care was not compromised. – SAnews.gov.za
