Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma will this morning lead a senior government delegation to the opening of the Mkhupula One-Stop Development Centre in Msinga, Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Through the centre, a full range of services will be easily accessed by children, unemployed women, older persons, youth, people with disabilities as well as families infected and affected by HIV and Aids.

The centre is linked to the Departments of Social Development and Home Affairs so that people can apply for Identity Documents as well as pick up their social grants, among other things.

"As part of delivering on its social contract with the electorate, all tiers of government, are committed to ensuring citizens have access to services. In this regard, government has, amongst others, prioritised the expansion of its rural footprint," Home Affairs said in a statement.

Zuma will be supported by Ministers of Home Affairs and Social Development, Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma and Bathabile Dlamini and KZN Premier Zweli Mkhize.
