Pretoria – Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa will today lead a delegation of Ministers in the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) cluster to assess the state of readiness for the general elections in Rustenburg.
The visit is part of a series of visits aimed at ensuring stability ahead of the May 7 elections. The ministers on Tuesday visited Sterkspruit and Molteno in the Eastern Cape, after they had visited so-called hotspots in KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape.
The visit to Rustenburg and its surrounds will take place over two days, and it will give residents a chance to voice their concerns to the ministers.
