Pretoria - Mourners can pay their respects to the late Public Service and Administration Minister, Collins Chabane, by leaving their personal messages in the condolence books ahead of the memorial service and funeral.
The Presidency said the condolence books will be placed at the Union Buildings in Pretoria, Tuynhuys and Parliament in Cape Town, the Department of Public Service and Administration at Johannes Ramokhoase Street in Pretoria and the Office of the Premier in Limpopo province.
“As the country mourns the tragic death of the Minister of Public Service and Administration, Mr Collins Chabane, South Africans are invited to pay their respects and sign the condolence books to be placed in various areas across the country,” said the Presidency.
The memorial service for Minister Chabane will be held on Thursday at 12h00 at Pretoria City Hall.
The Minister, who died with two of his protectors on Sunday in a car crash, will be laid to rest in an official funeral ceremony this Saturday at his home village of Xikundu.
