Arms Procurement Commission report to be released

Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma will this morning release the report from the Commission of Inquiry into the Strategic Defence Procurement Packages, commonly known as the Arms Deal Commission.

The Commission, chaired by Judge Willie Seriti, was established by the President in September 2011 to investigate allegations of fraud, corruption, impropriety or irregularity in the arms procurement process.

The President will release the Arms Procurement Commission report at 10.30am via a broadcast on the public broadcaster, the SABC. – SAnews.gov.za
