Pretoria - Cabinet has commended the teams competing at the London 2012 Olympics for holding the South African flag high.
In a statement issued by the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) on Thursday, Cabinet commended Cameron van der Burgh for winning the first gold in the 100m breaststroke and Chad le Clos for winning South Africa's second gold medal for the 200m butterfly final.
It further reminded South Africans to show their support for the teams by participating in the Magnificent Friday's campaign.
