Cabinet congratulates Proteas on Test Match

Pretoria - Cabinet has congratulated the Proteas for their world class performance against Australia in Perth. 

South Africa retained first position in the Test Match rankings. "This win augments Cricket South Africa's milestone for the 200th Test Match since unity. 

"Cabinet congratulates the Proteas squad for their world class performance against Australia in Perth," said Minister in the Presidency responsible for Performance Monitoring, Evaluation and Administration, Collins Chabane. 

South Africa thrashed Australia by 309 runs in the third Test to hold on to their number one Test ranking and ruin an emotional farewell for veteran batsman Ricky Ponting. - SAnews.gov.za
