Pretoria - Matric pupils in Mpumalanga have had glitch-free exams so far, says the Mpumalanga Department of Education.
With the exams now in the third week, the department said things had progressed smoothly so far.
"The department is satisfied with the way the examinations are continuing and takes this opportunity to express its appreciation to educators, learners, parents and to all stakeholders who are contributing to the smooth management of the examination process," it said in a statement.
The department also urged communities to direct any exam-related queries to the Departmental Help Desk which can be contacted on (013) 766-0097/0033 or b.mabunda@education.mpu.gov.za and b.marobe@education.mpu.gov.za .
Today, matrics are writing Afrikaans P1 and Mathematics P3.
The matric exams will end on 1 December.
