Pretoria - FIFA's 2010 Local Organising Committee boss, Danny Jordaan, was elected unopposed as the fourth vice-president of the South African Football Association (SAFA) on Saturday.

Jordaan's election was confirmed at the SAFA annual general meeting held in Sandton.

The other three vice presidents are Irvin Khoza by virtue of him being chairman of the Premier Soccer League, Chief Mwelo Nonkonyane and Mandla "Shoes" Mazibuko.

Other resolutions adopted by the association general council were the increase of annual grants for the SAFA regions from R250 000 to R300 000. However, this matter will be reviewed in April next year to see if it can be increased even further.

KPMG has also been appointed as the auditing firm for the association, replacing Delloite & Touche which follows the recommendations by the general council in last year's AGM.
