Pretoria - Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates midfielder, Teko Modise, will appear before a disciplinary hearing this morning for going AWOL ahead of a crucial league match.

Modise went AWOL from the team's camp prior to their match against Santos on 15 January. He reportedly claimed to have received a call from his wife informing him that there was a break-in at their house.

Orlando Pirates boss, Dr Irvin Khoza, confirmed that they had completed their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Modise's absence from the camp.

"The club has resolved to conduct a disciplinary hearing arising from the investigation and Modise will be afforded a full opportunity to address the relevant issues and allegations in that forum," he said.

Khoza said the hearing was an internal matter and will be conducted in Houghton, Johannesburg.
