FS MEC to check health care facilities

Bloemfontein - Free State MEC for Health Sisi Mabe will on Friday inspect health facilities in Harrismith.

Mabe, who has continuously emphasised health as a right for all people, will also consult with community members on their needs and grievances.

She is expected to visit Indibazwe Clinic, Thebe/Phumelela District Hospital Complex, and the new Forensic Pathology Holding Room Facility at Thebe Hospital, including an extensive tour through the wards, mortuary and Emergency Medical Services.

Mabe's hospital and clinic visits will also include meeting with hospital boards and clinic committees. She is also expected to discuss the restructuring of healthcare systems in the province.
