Pretoria - Public Service and Administration Minister, Richard Baloyi, has welcomed the appointment of Blake Mosley-Lefatola as the CEO for the State Information Technology Agency (SITA).
The minister said the appointment was a positive step by the SITA board in ensuring stability within the agency and a move that will ensure the agency is positioned as the IT provider of choice within government.
Mosley-Lefatola has vast experience in heading institutions within the public service, with a tenure that has included serving as the Head of Department for the Department of Developmental Local Government and Housing in the North West province.
Most recently, he was the CEO for the Gauteng Economic Development Agency (GEDA), an agency responsible for investment and trade promotion and economic development in general.
He was also municipal manager for the Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality until his resignation last year.
