Durban- Bafana Bafana is set to lock horns with North Korea in an international friendly on Thursday in Frankfurt, Germany.
The 25-man squad, currently in Germany for their second training camp at the Adidas technical centre, is preparing for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Their second friendly international match will be against China on April 28 at the Offenbach Kickers FC Stadium in Frankfurt. Kick off for both matches is 18h00.
Bafana Team Manager, Sipho Nkumane, said the players will be awarded caps for both matches.
"It has been difficult trying to get practise matches but now we are elated that we managed to secure DPR Korea.
"The coach (Carlos Alberto Perreira) has been looking for quality and competitive opponents, that is why we had to cancel a confirmed match against Nuremburg II," he said.
The World Cup host's third international friendly against Estonia has been cancelled as the team was grounded due to the volcanic ash cloud over Europe. The team was scheduled to take on Bafana on April 24.
"They are still keen to come though and if the skies clear up they will still make it to Germany," Nkumane said.
