Pretoria- Deputy Minister in the Presidency for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation, Obed Bapela, will meet the Executive Mayor of Johannesburg, Parks Tau, tomorrow, to discuss the ongoing billing challenges experienced by the city.
The meeting aims to identify solutions that will enable the Deputy Minister's office to address the reported challenges in a bid to find a long-term solution, said a statement released by the Deputy Minister's office.
"The meeting was prompted by the influx of complaints received through the Presidential Hotline. The Deputy Minister hopes that the meeting will enable his office to adequately address the reported challenges and hopefully find a long term and lasting solution," it said.
The meeting will also be attended by members of the Mayoral Committee responsible for the Billing System.
