Pretoria - The changes to the National Executive announced by President Jacob Zuma on Monday will come into effect when the new ministers and deputy ministers are sworn in to office during a ceremony at Tuynhuys this afternoon.
They will be sworn in by Constitutional Court Judge, Justice Zac Yacoob as Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng is out of the country.
The Ministers include:
* Thembelani "Thulas" Nxesi, the new Minister of Public Works
* Dina Pule, the new Minister of Communications
* Richard Baloyi, the new Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs
* Roy Padayachie, the new Minister of Public Service and Administration
The Deputy Ministers include:
* Obed Bapela, the new Deputy Minister in the Presidency for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation
* Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu, the new Deputy Minister of Women, Children and People with Disabilities
* Lechesa Tsenoli, the new Deputy Minister for Rural Development and Land Reform
* Thembisa Stella Ndabeni, the new Deputy Minister of Communications
Zuma has also appointed Major General Nhlanhla Sibusiso Mkhwanazi as acting National Police Commissioner.
