Pretoria - The public has been called to nominate members to sit on the Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA) board.
Parliament's Portfolio Committee on Communications has made the call to fill three vacancies of non-executive members of the MDDA board. The three of the current members' contracts end in December.
The committee's Chairperson Ismail Vadi said formal advertisements had been placed in weekend newspapers and that people with experience in community media, advertising and marketing as well as media research among other things were eligible for nomination.
Nominations close on 8 November 2010.
