Pretoria - Youths have been urged to make their way to the Cape Town Train Station on Tuesday to learn about youth development programmes, job and study opportunities as well as entrepreneurship opportunities.
The Youth Express Train, which forms part of Youth Month events, will stop at the Cape Town station tomorrow.
The Departments of International Relations and Cooperation; Rural Development; Labour; Trade and Industry, as well as the University of Cape Town and Absa will be exhibiting at the stations.
The exhibit will run from 9am to 3pm.
The train is an initiative of the National Youth Agency (NYDA) in partnership with the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa.
The train will travel to all provinces throughout Youth Month with the aim of educating youth, especially the youth in rural areas about programmes about services that exist.
On Friday, the train will arrive in Port Elizabeth ahead of the national Youth Day celebrations which President Jacob Zuma is expected to attend.
