Pretoria - Bafana Bafana will have the opportunity to score in tomorrow's crucial clash against the French, say the cards.
"The cards say that Bafana Bafana will have the opportunity to score," chairperson of the Tarot Society of South Africa, Serena Brink told BuaNews on Monday.
The boys in green and gold will take on France in their final Group A make-or-break encounter in the 2010 FIFA World Cup tomorrow afternoon, in Bloemfontein.
"It will really depend on whether they take the opportunity. Bafana Bafana has a strong defence that can hold their own," she said.
Meanwhile, media reports on Monday stated that the French Sport Minister Roselyne Bachelot was to hold talks with the team and coach after the team's refusal to train. This after the country's President asked her to extend her stay. This comes after the players refused to train in support of their striker Nicolas Anelka who was sent home following a disagreement with Coach Raymond Domenech.
The team has one point to their name from their two matches so far.
Turning her attention to France, Brink said: "The cards suggest that they can win if they start working together as a team, if they can get over their conflict."
Asked if South Africans would turn up for tomorrow's match, Brink said the cards were ambiguous on the matter.
"People will turn out and they are going to support [the team] but they are a bit confused. They are not certain they are going to win," she explained.
As to what the scoreboard would show, Brink predicts a draw.
"When coming to scoring, there is a strong possibility for a draw... nil nil against each other," she concluded.
South African Weather Service's Michael Nethavhani said it would likely be a sunny day in Bloemfontein.
"It's going to be a sunny day in Bloemfontein with temperatures starting of at 0 degrees and peaking at 16 degrees. There will also be a light western wind," he said.
