Pretoria - Bafana Bafana head coach, Carlos Alberto Parreira, needs a solid defence to contain Mexican striker Javier Hernandez when the two teams clash in the opening match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup on 11 June.
Together with team-mate, Cuauhtemoc Blanco, Hernandez was on target as Mexico posted a 2-1 win over fellow 2010 FIFA World Cup finalists Korea DPR in Torreon on Wednesday.
Blanco fired the hosts into the lead from a free-kick after 51 minutes of the friendly encounter before Choe Kum-Chol levelled for the Koreans six minutes later.
Hernandez popped up with the winner in the 69th minute to extend Mexico's unbeaten run in preparation for the World Cup following convincing victories over Bolivia and New Zealand.
Earlier this month, Javier Hernandez and Carlos Vela scored two goals in the space of five minutes to lift Mexico to a 2-0 victory over New Zealand in a 2010 FIFA World Cup warm-up match.
Mexico has been drawn in Group A alongside hosts South Africa, France and Uruguay, while the North Koreans will contest Group G against Brazil, Portugal and C"te d'Ivoire.
