Pretoria – Labour Deputy Minister Nkosi Phathekile Holomisa is visiting KwaZulu-Natal to ensure services are delivered smoothly at labour centres.
The visit to the Ulundi labour centre forms part of Deputy Minister Holomisa’s nationwide initiative to interact with the management and staff at labour centres.
Through these visits, the Deputy Minister will get a first-hand account of the challenges faced by provinces. He will also interact with the public who make use of labour centres.
Deputy Minister Holomisa has already been to Gauteng and the Eastern Cape.
On Tuesday, he will meet the management and staff of the provincial office and then proceed to the Durban Labour Centre, the biggest in the country currently.
He will round up his tour at the Stanger Labour Centre.
The Deputy Minister occupies this portfolio as the first in the history of the department, as the Department of Labour was led only by a Minister in the last 20 years. – SAnews.gov.za
