Pretoria – Limpopo Premier Stanley Mathabatha today announced a reshuffle in the province’s Executive Council.
Previously MEC for Health, Maaria Ishmael Kgetjepe, has replaced the late MEC for Education Thembi Nwendamutswu.
Dr Phophi Constance Ramathuba is the new MEC for Health, replacing Kgetjiepe.
Rob Tooley is now the MEC for Provincial Treasury.
The new provincial Executive Council retains Ambassador JAD Ndou as MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure; Makoma Makhurupetje as MEC Cooperative Governance, Human Settlement and Traditional Affairs; Joy Matshoge as MEC Agriculture and Rural Development; Seaparo Charles Sekoati as MEC for Economic Development, Environment and Tourism; Happy Joyce Mashamba as MEC for Social Development; Nandi Ndalane as MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture and Mapula Mokaba-Phukwana as MEC for Transport, Safety, Security and Liaison.
Premier Mathabatha said he had no doubt the changes will add value to the province’s commitment to accelerate delivery of services to the people and ensure an improvement in the overall administration of the provincial government.
He further thanked the province’s leaders who have served the people of Limpopo with humility and dedication. “I wish them the best of luck in their new endeavors,” he said. – SAnews.gov.za
