Pretoria - Limpopo Premier Cassel Mathale reshuffled his Provincial Executive Council on Tuesday, bringing in four new MECs.
The four are: Health and Social Development MEC, Dr Norman Mabasa; MEC for Agriculture, Jacob Marule; Safety, Security and Liaison, Florence Dzhombere and Co-operative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs MEC Clifford Motsepe.
Former Agriculture MEC Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba has been moved to Sport, Arts and Culture, while Pinkie Kekana is moved to Economic Development, Environment and Tourism, swapping with Pitso Moloto, who is now MEC for Roads and Transport.
The Premier retained Dickson Masemola as MEC for Education, David Masondo as MEC for Treasury and Public Works MEC Thabitha Mohlala.
Mathale extended his gratitude to the outgoing MECs - Dikeledi Magadzi, Soviet Legkanyane, George Phadagi and Joyce Mashamba - for their "colossal contribution" to the provincial government.
"It is through their effort that we have been able to make notable achievements in the past 18 years. We wish them well in the future," he said.
Mathale also sent well wishes to the new MECs "as they embrace the mammonth task of leading their respective departments and delivering to the well deserving people of Limpopo".
