Matrics write Afrikaans paper

Pretoria - Matrics will today write a two-hour Afrikaans HL paper, as the matric final examinations continue.

While there is no exam scheduled for this afternoon, learners will write Mathematics Paper 1 and Mathematics Literacy Paper 1 tomorrow morning. In the afternoon various language subjects, including Portuguese, German and Hebrew will be written.

The matric finals got off to a good start this week with no serious hiccups being reported.

Learners have been encouraged to make use of every opportunity to study as well as make certain they eat and rest well. Parents are meanwhile urged to relieve their children of chores and ensure a noise-free environment at home.
