Pretoria - A memorial service has been planned for KwaZulu-Natal Judge President Herbert Msimang, who passed away last week Thursday.
According to the office of the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, Sandile Ngcobo, the memorial service will take place on Thursday, 14 April, at the Royal Showgrounds in Pietermaritzburg.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday at Hilton College, just outside Pietermaritzburg, followed by a procession to the Edendale cemetery.
Msimang passed away at a Pietermaritzburg hospital on 7 April. The Presidency and Justice Minister Jeff Radebe have described his passing as a huge loss for the legal fraternity. - BuaNews
