Plans to make the public service more productive

Cape Town – Public Service and Administration Minister Collins Chabane says he is working on making the public service “more productive”.

Speaking to SAnews after President Jacob Zuma’s State of the Nation Address on Tuesday, the minister said he will soon announce major plans for the public service machinery.

“Our focus will be to make the public service more productive, more efficient, and we are going to outline our plans once we have finalised them,” he said.

He said the past five years had given government much experience and that the current administration was now in implementation mode. – SAnews.gov.za
