Pretoria - The Presidency says it is disappointed that Western Cape Premier Helen Zille has released confidential information to the public.
President Jacob Zuma recently convened a consultative meeting with all Premiers ahead of the State of the Nation Address and Budget Speech by the Minister of Finance.
“The confidential contents of the consultation have been released to the public by Ms Zille without authorisation. Previously, Ms Zille also released to the public confidential information from a meeting that President Zuma had convened between Premiers and the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) ahead of the 2014 National General Elections,” said the Presidency in a statement.
The State of the Nation Address will take place at 7pm on 11 February during a joint sitting of the National Assembly and National Council of Provinces. – SAnews.gov.za
