Pretoria - The Department of Mineral Resources has warned of a syndicate that is fraudulently ordering goods and services under the pretence that it is for the department.
The department has urged all service providers on its database and potential suppliers to government departments to be vigilant and not to be deceived by the syndicate's fraudulent activities.
"We urge all service providers to contact the department when they receive either requests for quotations or government orders to confirm their authenticity," cautioned the department.
