Pretoria - Striking truck drivers are expected to march in Johannesburg's CBD this morning from around 10am.

They will depart from the Workers Library on the corner of Jeppe and Miriam Makeba Streets, over the Nelson Mandela Bridge and up De Korte Street.

The Johannesburg Metro Police have warned motorists to avoid the area if possible.

The truck drivers embarked on a go-slow on Sunday.

Satawu is demanding a 20 percent pay increase over two years and a ban on labour brokers, while the Road Freight Association is offering 15 percent over two years and believes labour brokers are essential for business.
