Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma will later this morning visit the Afrikaner community of Orania in the Northern Cape, the Presidency said.
The President is expected to meet with the leadership of Orania and Carel Boshoff, the founder of Orania.
Zuma will then tour the town to see how education, training, labour, housing and industries such as agriculture and tourism operate in that area.
Orania is an independent Afrikaner community striving to create a stronghold for Afrikaans and the Afrikaner identity by keeping their language and culture alive.
The town, which has two local schools, is home to more than 800 inhabitants. The town also has its own currency, the Ora, as a medium of exchange.
